MUAY THAI

Muay Thai training is a great way to lose weight and build self-defense skills. We offer several types of Muay Thai classes. We feature mostly pad drill classes focused on technique and skills. Our more challenging classes are focused on partner technique and offer safe, controlled contact. Our Head Muay Thai Coach is Robbie Cole. Although most people enjoy the serious fitness benefits of training in muay thai, we do have a muay thai fight team. Coach Robbie has taken a team to the TBAs since 2011.

SELF-DEFENSE

POW! was the first to bring Krav Maga to the city of Chicago in 2002. This reality based program of self-defense was the first organized system that only focused on learning to fight back when faced with violence and training for situations that happen in real life. Today, our program continues to follow Chicago’s trends in violence and incorporates relevant drills so our students understand we are training ‘in case of a crisis.’ We believe that self-defense is for the moment when an attack turns deadly.

MARTIAL ARTS

POW! ‘s staff is filled with coaches that have been life long martial artists. We are dedicated to paying forward the training and discipline that has made us successful martial artists. We offer a wide range of martial arts training that can be used for self-defense. You will find Kickboxing, Krav Maga, Muay Thai, Grappling and Kali on our schedule. For individuals that want to progress their training we offer several sparring classes.
