I’m often the first friendly face you’ll see when you walk into POW! Gym. I love helping members feel comfortable trying new things — whether that’s stepping into a boxing class for the first time or investing in their health through fitness and nutrition coaching. Creating a welcoming, supportive environment is something I genuinely care about.
I’m a former Division I track athlete, and I learned early on the value of discipline, consistency, and hard work. While those principles fueled my success in athletics, I believe they’re just as important in everyday life. In my role at the front desk, I bring those values into the small but meaningful interactions that help members feel supported, confident, and connected from the moment they arrive.
I earned my MBA in Applied Management from Eastern Illinois University, where I also completed my undergraduate studies with a major in Marketing and a minor in Psychology. During my academic career, I received multiple honors, including All-Academic recognition, three appearances on the Dean’s List, four selections to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll, and I was the winner of Eastern Illinois University’s Spring 2023 Sales Competition.
My professional background includes experience as a Marketing Coordinator and Sales Support Specialist with State Farm, as well as serving as a Production Assistant for Experiential Operations at the Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans. These roles strengthened my skills in communication, organization, and relationship-building — all of which I bring to the POW! community.
Outside of the gym, I enjoy new experiences, meeting new people, trying new restaurants, attending concerts, and tackling a good puzzle.
My favorite strength exercises to pair together are hang cleans and bent-over rows, and my favorite movie growing up was Catwoman.
