POW! Summer Camps Info with Changes

We are preparing to offer private summer camp.  While our camps will change some aspects of the curriculum, we intend to create the same POW! vibe.  Many of the changes we have made are to become compliant with the City of Chicago's guidelines.

We are currently taking PRE-REGISTRATION.  Because our capacity will be limited, spots will be given in the order they are received.  We will waitlist kids.

Contact us directly to get pre-registered:  Lizzie@powkickboxing.com.  All registrations will be done through our administrators.  We are not taking any online registrations.

Some changes to expect:

  • Slightly shorter day - 8:30am to 3:30pm / lounges will not be able to be open
  • Limited capacity / smaller group sizes will be implemented in accordance with CDC, IDPH, and CDPH guidelines.
  • Campers must practice social distancing. POW! Kids will provide different tools (ropes, zone cones, etc.) to assist kids in keeping their 6+ feet of distance.
  • The City of Chicago is requiring campers wear masks.
  • All participants will need to fill out new waiver.
  • Campers must bring their own water, drinking fountains will not be available.
  • Field trips will not be offered.
  • Campers will assist in the some of the cleaning processes.
  • Weeklong enrollments only allowed / no day passes.
  • Kids will be participate in many outdoor activities.
  • The same kids will remain in a group together for the duration of the week / we can not switch, change or add kids to different groups.
  • Kids must follow the Code of Conduct / if kids are unable to follow the code of conduct parent will need to pick them up immediately and no refund will be issued.
  • Campers will have their temperature taken upon arrival / parents will need to sign their kids upon arrival and test that their child is not ill or displaying a COVID-like symptoms.
