At POW!, summer camp is about more than keeping kids busy — it’s about giving them a place to move, play, socialize, and belong. Our camps are intentionally structured to balance activity, creativity, outdoor time, and social connection, while still leaving room for flexibility and fun. Whether your child loves being active, playing games, or trying something new, our camps are designed to meet kids where they are and help them have a great summer.
Each camp day includes a mix of gym-based activities, outdoor time, games, and quieter moments like reading or art. We focus on creating an environment that feels safe, supportive, and energetic — where kids can build confidence, friendships, and positive memories around movement.
Below is a quick overview of our summer camp options so families can find the best fit.
Fit Kid Camp (1st–3rd Grade)
Fit Kid Camp for 1st–3rd graders is designed to introduce younger campers to movement, play, and routine in a fun, supportive environment. Campers participate in age-appropriate games such as agility courses, dance freeze parties, relay races, team charades, group storytelling, and imaginative movement games.
Each day also includes park time, short neighborhood walking field trips, board games, art activities, and reading or quiet reset time. This camp emphasizes structure, reassurance, and positive coaching to help younger kids feel comfortable, confident, and excited to participate.
Fit Kid Camp (4th–8th Grade)
Fit Kid Camp for 4th–8th graders builds on active play with more variety, challenge, and choice. Campers are exposed to movement-based games and activities that include running, jumping, throwing, climbing, and teamwork — all presented in a way that feels fun rather than instructional.
Activities may include agility challenges, obstacle courses, relay games, team competitions, and creative group games, alongside daily park time, board games, art options, and social downtime. This camp is a great fit for kids who enjoy staying active and trying different types of movement without pressure or specialization.
Sports Conditioning & Games Camp (4th–8th Grade)
Sports Conditioning & Games Camp is designed for older campers who love games, variety, and friendly competition. This camp blends movement-based challenges with sports-style games that encourage teamwork, coordination, and problem-solving — without focusing on formal sports training or performance outcomes.
Campers participate in a rotating mix of games such as Football 500, kickball, Capture the Flag, basketball-style games, soccer-inspired challenges, obstacle courses, and creative tag variations. The emphasis is on play, movement, and confidence-building in a structured and supportive environment, with daily park time, gym activities, and opportunities for camper choice.
POW! NERF Skills & Sports Conditioning Camp
Our NERF camp combines the energy of POW! summer camp with supervised, skill-based NERF activities. Campers take part in 2–3 NERF challenges each day, such as target shooting games, movement challenges, and obstacle courses combined with accuracy tasks. All NERF activities take place inside the gym or on our track and are fully supervised by coaches.
POW! provides standardized NERF blasters for most activities, and campers do not need to own one to participate. Kids are often given choices and can vote to continue favorite games rather than adding additional activities. Outside of NERF time, campers follow our standard camp schedule with park time, games, art, and reading. This camp is ideal for kids who enjoy imaginative play, teamwork, and friendly competition.
