Zach Anderson

Zach is from the northwest suburbs of Chicago and former two-sport athlete across track and football. Zach received multiple college scholarships after his high school track and field career, ultimately throwing shot put and hammer at Illinois Wesleyan University. As an athlete, Zach received 19 All-Conference honors and qualified for nationals four times; he earned NCAA All-American honors in 2019 in the deepest shot put competition in the history of the event. His school record at IWU still stands today. He was coached by 17-time NCAA All-American Drew Frizzel and World Champion Ryan Whiting. Post collegiately, Zach went on to be the strength and conditioning coach as well as the throws coach at Greenville University. While at Greenville, teams won 17 conference titles, 18 athletes on the track and field team qualified for the NCAA championships - 6 of which earned All-American status, and 5 teams earned bids to their respective NCAA championship tournaments.
Zach has his CSCS and enjoys training athletes. Zach is highly driven and passionate about athletes performing at their best and developing lifelong training habits. Today, Zach competes in Olympic Weightlifting and has goals of making an international team; he is also a big Taylor Swift fan.
