For the past 25 years, it’s been my privilege to serve the West Loop as the owner-operator of POW! Gym Chicago. As I reflect on my journey, it’s the relationships I’ve built with our members, coaches, and the broader community that mean the most to me. Together, we’ve created more than a gym—POW! Gym Chicago has become a trusted, supportive fitness family in Chicago, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve built.
As someone in my mid-50s, I understand that the fitness journey evolves with time. Health goals shift, priorities change, and what once felt right might not anymore. I want to provide an opportunity for adults to get stronger, reduce pain, and feel better overall in a personalized and affordable way! I want results to be accessible and tailored to individual needs. That’s why I’m excited to announce the launch of POW!’s Personalized Training program in a semi-private setting. This launches on December 12, 2024.
Here’s what you can expect: our semi-private program is designed with a 4:1 client-to-coach ratio, giving you personal attention without the cost of one-on-one training. Every workout will be specifically built around your needs. Your program will be built when you arrive and displayed on your private tablet. Before you even set foot in the gym, we’ll design your program to fit your body’s unique requirements—considering everything from your mobility and strength levels to your fitness goals.
Your first experience with us will include a private onboarding session where we take the time to understand what matters to you. We’ll conduct movement assessments and learn about your goals, so we can build a program that doesn’t just get you through a workout but helps you live the life you envision: active, strong, mobile, and confident.
